英文摘要 | Three major methods of experimental design (fractional factorial orthogonal design, D-optimal design and uniform design) with applications to chemistry and chemical engineering are reviewed and compared. The special features of uniform design are addressed. Several case studies of chemical research show that the uniform design is a promising and powerful experimental design method. Uniformity of space filling is the most important feature of the uniform design. Some desirable properties such as cost-effciency, robustness and flexibility make uniform design a useful tool in chemistry and chemical engineering. |
