英文摘要 | Austempered ductile iron (ADI) is full of potentiality for its excellent mechanical properties as well as the low cost. In this experiment, the alloying elements and contents of the ADI were varied. The effects of composition and contents of the alloying elements on the hardness and microstructures of ADI were investigated. The results show that as we increased the austempered temperature, the hardness of ADI decreased. The hardness of ADI for Cu alloy addition is maximum while it is minimum for Ni-Mo alloy addition; At a constant austempered temperature, Cu and Nm alloy additions show the same trend in hardness variation with the austempering time. At a higher austempered temperature, the microstructure turns to the thick, feather-like bainite ferrite with islanded residual austenite. For the contents in various alloys added, the more Cu and Mn alloy additions, the larger the hardness while it showed opposite trend in the Ni and Ni-Mo alloy additions. |
