英文摘要 | Tube spinning is a metal plastic deformation process. This technique consists of the elongation of a thick-walled preform using shaped rollers to fabricate a thin-walled workpiece with high precision, high strength and good enough surface roughness. The fabrication can satisfy the requirements of aeronautical and military components. This article describes the fabrication of motorcase using backward tube spinning. The thermomechanical treatment involves proper control of the tube spinning and heat treatment processes, such as annealing, solution and aging treatments. By choosing the parameter of tube spinning and thermomechanical treatment processes, the mechanical properties and dimension precision are improved. The performance of the finished products including the higher strength with proper elongation and good mechanical behavior are verified by mechanical and hydraulic test. |
