英文摘要 | The super plastic microstructure of 8090 A1-Li alloys can be developed by either dynamic recrystallization or static recrystallization and the latter is based on the particle-stimulated nucleation (PSN) mechanism to refine their grains. It has been shown that, compared to other super plastic alloys, the A1-Lialloys are more difficult to produce a uniform distribution of recrystallized grains. The purpose of this research is to study the effect of the type and amount of deformation and the precipitates distributionon the superplastic microstructure. In stead of hot/warm rolling, forging, pressing, pre-stretching and/or roller heating have been employed in this study. These result in different recrystalllized microstructure. It is found that by proper control of the microstructure before over aging, a fine and uniformrecrystallized microstructure can be obtained. |
