中文摘要 | 台灣中小學校舍多為低矮樓層建築,除了是師生每天活動的地方,地震來時也可作為緊急避難場所。不幸的是集集大地震造成台灣中小學校舍受損倒塌嚴重,校舍主要破壞集中在沿走廊方向之垂直構件,由此可知校舍沿走廊方向為主要抵抗地震方向。而校舍沿走廊方向除了有柱垂直構件,柱兩側因教室有採光通風需求,需配置三面圍束磚牆,以利窗戶設置。由校舍耐震資料庫數據顯示,有43.6%之校舍沿走廊方向含三面圍束磚牆,由此可知,沿走廊方向含三面圍束磚牆為台灣校舍重要且常見之結構系統。為確保台灣既有常見校舍於大地震時有足夠耐震能力,亟需針對既有常見校舍進行耐震能力評估。目前台灣除了可以套裝軟體提供之側推分析進行校舍耐震能力評估外,尚有一種不需套裝軟體亦可手解之簡易側推分析法。為了解此分析方法針對台灣常見且重要校舍結構之適用性,本文以口湖國小含三面圍束磚牆校舍現地試驗結果驗證簡易側推分析之合理性,經比較簡易側推分析所得之最大基底剪力強度、初始勁度均趨於保守,而簡易側推分析求得之性能目標地表加速度亦較現地試驗保守,故以簡易側推分析進行校舍耐震能力評估之結果尚屬合理,可提供工程師作為套裝軟體評估結果之參考。 |
英文摘要 | In Taiwan, the elementary schools and junior high schools are low-rise buildings. They can not only be a place for students and teachers at normal time, but also can be an emergency shelter during earthquake. Unfortunately in Chi-Chi Earthquake, Taiwan, the elementary schools and junior high schools damaged and collapsed seriously. The damage concentrated in the vertical members of school along the corridor direction. It showed that the direction along the corridor of school played the main role to resist earthquake. However, not only columns are vertical members along the corridor direction, but also the brick walls confined with three sides which can combine with the windows for the requirement of the ventilation and natural light in classroom. From seismic database, it shows there are 43.6% of school buildings having brick walls confined with three sides in the corridor direction. It means that the brick walls confined with three sides are very common in school buildings in Taiwan. In order to ensure the existing school buildings to have adequate seismic capacity to resist next huge earthquake, it is an urgent need to do seismic evaluation for low-rise school buildings. In Taiwan, the software are used for pushover analysis to analyze the seismic capacity of existing buildings, there is also a method called simplified pushover analysis which can calculate pushover curves by hand without software for low rise school buildings. In order to realize the rationale of simplified pushover analysis for these common and important school buildings in Taiwan, in this paper, the simplified pushover analysis is verified by in-situ pushover tests of a school building in Kou-hu Elementary School. The capacity curves from simplified pushover analysis and in-situ pushover tests are compared. The comparison indicates that initial stiffness, maximum base shear and acceleration at the performance point are conservative. This analysis method can be used for low-rise buildings and it is beneficial for engineers in doing seismic evaluation for low-rise buildings. |
