中文摘要 | 台塑六輕工程在雲林縣麥寮鄉沿海一帶以抽砂填海的方式造地。施工管理單位曾 經為此一龐大的工程進行與大地工程相關且群盡的調查、試驗與研究,並留下豐富的文獻資 料。雲林縣麥寮鄉乃至於台灣西海岸之砂土大多源自於中央山脈,受雨水沖刷而來。在沖刷的 過程中夾帶台灣西部含量甚豐的灰黑色頁岩與泥岩,這兩種都是較軟弱易碎之岩石。因此岩 石受沖刷容易變成灰黑色的細顆粒粉土或細砂,也就是台灣西海岸典型之砂土。麥寮粉土細 砂之礦物含量與粒徑分佈都與學術論文中常見之均勻級配、不含細顆粒材料的石英砂有相當 之差異。砂土工程性質與礦物成分、顆粒的形狀和級配有相當大的關係,因此,若將石英砂的 理論直接套用於麥寮砂顯然是不適合的。作者以麥寮粉土細砂工程性質為題將現有相關的資 料做一整理與歸納。本文介紹所蒐集的現地試驗、室內試驗和基樁載重試驗的結果,並討論 這些結果對基礎施工的影響。 |
英文摘要 | Construction activies of the 6�� Naptha complex by the Formosa Plastics Croup involve massive land reclamation in Mailiao Township of Yunlin County. Sand dredged offshore was placed as a hydraulic fill to build the reclaimed land. The managing department in charge of the construction has accumulated a wealth of information from detailed geotechnical explorations, laboratory and field experiments and research activities. The sand from Mailiao or, essentially all sands on the West Coast of Taiwan, originated from the central mountain range. Relatively weak shale and mudstone were deteriorated and flushed by rainfalls through steep slopes and rapidly flowing streams before settling down on the west plain and resulted in the typical fine sand of the region. The Mailiao sand differs from uniformly graded quartz sand in mineralogy and gradation. It is known that mineralogy and gradation affect the properties of sand. Hence, it is not appropriate to use theories developed for uniform quartz sand in analyzing geotechnical problems that involve Mailiao Sand. The authors have compiled available data that relate to the Mailiao silty fine sand This paper describes results from a wide variety of in situ and laboratory esperiments as well as field pile load tests, and discusses their implications on geotechnical engineering analysis and construction in Mailiao sand. |
