中文摘要 | 本研究之目的乃在於檢驗「以關注為本位的採用模式」(the Concerns-based Adoption Model, CBAM, Hall & Hord, 1987)中之一項概念「關注階段」(Stages of Concerns, SoC)在我國教育情境的適用性。六所學校廿二位正嘗試使用一項新教學法「合作學習」的教 師參與了本項研究。本研究首先將英文版的「SoC開放性問題」轉譯成中文,並經測試其轉 譯的正確性後,用為本研究的調查工具。在教師開始使用該項新教學法的第一學期的四個月 期間,由研究者隔週到校請教師回答「SoC開放性問題」,將其對使用該項新教學法的關注事 項填答於研究者所提供的格式上。研究者共蒐集了187份教師填答的敘述作為本研究的分析 資料,教師的敘述內容經與CBAM的原發展者Dr. Gene E. Hall分析後,證明「關注階段」 的概念能適用於我國的教育情境,而CBAM原發展者所提供的「關注階段」分析系統亦證明能 適用於分析我國教師的革新關注敘述。本研究發現我國教師對教學革新事物的關注內容,與 在西方國家所發現者相同。本研究並依分析所得就明「革新關注」此一概念所能予學校教育 革新實務的啟示。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to test the applicability of one element of Hall and Hord's (1987) Concerns-Based Adoption Model (CBAM), Stages of Concerns (SoC), to Taiwanese educational setting. Twenty-two teachers of six elementary schools participated in this study. A Chinese translation version of the SoC open-ended question was generated through a systemic process and used as the research tool in this study. The selected teachers were asked to respond to the Chinese translation version of the SoC open-ended question by writing down their concerns about using a teaching innovation. Teachers' written statements of concerns about a school change project were collected over a period of one semester. Research findings verify the cultural generalizability of the SoC concept and its coding system. Taiwanese teachers' responses to the SoC open-ended question were found to be similar to those observed in Western countries. Implications of the SoC concept for policy makers and change practitioners are discussed in the later part of this paper. |
