中文摘要 | 透過整合全球資訊網(WWW)的普及性與智慧型學習支援工具的彈性與調適性以增 強學生的學習能力是一個頗具潛力的方法。在本篇論文中,我們將探討在全球資訊網上設計 並建置一個合作建構式的智慧型學習環境的議題,以探究建構主義如何有效地在運用全球資 訊網(WWW)科技的學習環境中來實現。此學習環境命名為CILSE,是一個提供全球氣候類型 之歸納與探索的視覺化學習環境,並配有智慧型學習支援代理員程式(Intelligent Agents) 以輔助學生進行地理氣候的探索與歸納學習。在此環境中學生必須透過對一些氣候特徵的觀 察,歸納出氣候類型的分類規則並對其形成原因提出解釋。我們設計一個分組合作式、以研 究(Study)為基礎的學習模式並提出相關的教學策略。就實作而言,我們以「演化式反覆設 計法」(Evolutional Iterative Design),結合地理資訊系統與網頁的技術來呈現全球氣侯 類型的各項特徵,以利學生從不同的角度進行觀察與討論。另外,由於氣候分類的工作牽涉 到模糊特徵值的問題,因此我們運用模糊理論設計出一個智慧型導師以評估學生的分類規則 並引導學生的探索朝向正確的目標。 |
英文摘要 | Making intelligent learning supports available on World Wide Web (WWW) is a potential way to enhance a student's learning capability by integrating the flexibility and adaptability of intelligent supports with world-wide availability of WWW-based applications. In this paper we present the design and implementation of a collaborative intelligent learning support environment called CILSE for global climate exploration on WWW. This project is aimed to investigate the issue of how constructivism can be put to best use in learning situations created on the World Wide Web. The task domain is inherently a scientific classification problem, in which students are expected to induce climate classification rules and develop their own interpretations by making observations of a couple of climatic features. We design a collaborative study-based learning model and develop a set of tutoring strategies. As concerns the implementation, the design process is based on the evolutional iteration design approach, and we combine the technologies of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Web Pages to design a visualized data viewer to facilitate students' investigation of climatic data in different aspects. Besides, as the classification task involves fuzzy climatic features, we develop an intelligent fuzzy tutor to evaluate and keep the student's exploration going toward target knowledge. |
