英文摘要 | Ribonucleic acid free yeast is a by-product of Yeast & Feed Factory, Taiwan Sugar Corporation, which contains moisture 12.86%, crude protein 46.16%, crude fat 5.83% crude fiber 5.47%, crude ash 4.63% and nitrogen free extract 25.05% according to author's chemical analysis. The purpose of the studies was to determine the feeding value of ribonucleic acid free yeast in comparison with torula yeast and soybean cake as protein supplement for rates as well as chickens. It included 6 trials: the first was to study the effects on growth and feed efficiency of growing rates; the second was to compare the effects on digestibility on nutrients for rates; the third was to determine the effects on growth rate and feed utilization of chickens; the fourth was to investigate the feeding efficiencies of various kinds of diets for pullets; the fifth was to determine the effects on egg production, feed utilization of the layers, hatchability, and chemical composition of their eggs; while the sixth was to study the effects on dressing percentage and carcass quality of chickens. The results were given in tables 1 to 11 respectively. The experimental results showed that ribonucleic acid free yeast could be used as a substitute for soybean cake or torula yeast in diets for rate of chicken. There was no ill effect on growth, feed conversion, digestibility of growing rats as well as growth, feed utilization of chicks, egg production of pullets, hatchability, quality, of eggs and dressing percentage, chemical composition of muscle tissues of chickens. |
