中文摘要 | 魏氏兒童智力量表第三版(WISC-III)是國內現有重要的智力測量工具之一,其測驗結果可作為6至16歲兒童智力鑑定與進一步診斷之應用。WISC-III之優點在於其完整悠久之理論背景,試題編選之嚴謹,良好之信效度,以及世界公認之品質。然而,使用者往往需花費1至2小時左右之時間施測,造成實際困擾。 本研究根據WISC-III臺灣標準化樣化1,100位兒童測驗分數,建立以四個分測驗(兩個語文分測驗與兩個作業分測驗)為組合之簡式版本(short form),以供實務工作者估計全量表智商之使用。在考量心理計量特性,臨床意義性,以及施測與計分之省時便易性塑項因素後,提出下例建議:當施測時間極為有限時,宜選擇包含「符號替代,類同,圓形設計,詞彙」之簡式版本為佳,需時估計約在30分鐘上下;然而當施測時間較為充裕時,則建議選取「連環圖系,類同,圖形設計,詞彙」版本,或「連環圖系,算術,圖形設計,詞彙」之組合。此二簡式版本雖需時較長。但與國外許多學者之較為一致。 本研究同時提供各算式版本離差智商(Deviation IQ)之計算公式與各年齡組在每一算式版本上之估計標準誤供實務界之解釋與使用,以期達到最大之效用。文中亦對算式版本之性,本研究之重要限制,以及未來研究之建議提出具體說明與討論。 |
英文摘要 | Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, the third edition (WISC-III) is one of the most popular intelligence test in the world. It has great qualities such as reliabilities and validities, and it is an important tool in identifying and diagnosing children's cognitive abilities. However, along with all of its advantages, there is also a problematic factor of the WISC-III, that is, it is time consuming. The current study was aimed to establish several four-subtests short forms of the WISC-III, each includes 2 verbal subtests and 2 performance subtests. Data from the 1,100 WISC-III Taiwan standardization sample was used for analysis. Multi-domain factors were considered for making combination decisions, such as the psychometric properties (reliability and validity); suggestions based on traditional research line; and easy to administer and scoring. Resulted while administer time is a major concern, this short form roughly takes 30 minutes to administer the other two combinations, both are coincided with earlier suggestions, were suggested to use while time concern is not that crucial: (1)Picture Arrangement, Similarities, Block Design, and Vocabulary; and (2)Picture Arrangement, Arithmetic, Block Design, and Vocabulary. Each of them may take about 40 minutes to administer. Also presented were formulas for calculating linear transferred short form Deviation Quotients (mean of 100 and SD of 15) and the standard error of estimate. Limitations, further suggestions and important nature of short form using were also discussed in details. |
