英文摘要 | In order to understand the combustion phenomena within a vortexing fluidized bed combustor (VFBC), an investigation is carried out in a 0.45m diameter and 5m height pilot scale VFBC. Rice husk, corn, and soybean are used as the feeding material. Silica sand is used as the bed material. The experimental results indicate that the temperature within the combustor can be controlled by water injection. The amount of the in-bed excess air is the dominate parameter of combstion efficiency. When corn and soybean are used as the fuels, the in-bed combustion proportion will be increased with stoichiometric air ratio in-bed and temperature, but will be decreased with the ratio of volatile to fixed carbon. In this study, the stability of bed will to be increased with bed weight and combustion intensity, and decreased with bed temperature. |
