中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討五專學生在現代英文閱誼教學的課程申感受如何?本研 究之課程設計是根據最新的閱諒教學研究理論而設計成的。本研究對象為和春工 商專校四年級之非外語科學生。經寅施一年本教學方式之後,於學期末以申文問 卷調查他們的看法。研究結果發現多數學生對此種英文閱誼教學方式的反應態度 是正面的。多數學生肯定此種教學方式的確提升了他們的英文閱讀技巧以及閱讀 能力。本研究建議國內英文教師可以整合精讀、廣讀、聽說讀為練習活動以及另 類測驗於英文閱讀教學課程之中,以提高學生學習之興趣,進而提升英文閱讀能 力。 |
英文摘要 | This study looked at learners' perceptions on Modem English Reading Instruction. The syllabusdesign of the Modem English Reading Instruction is designed according to current researches on Englishreading. The participants are students of Fortune Junior College of Technology and Commerce. Theyare non-English majors. All participants were fourth year students in the fifth year program. At theend of the school year, a written survey was conducted to collect students' comments. Findings fromsurvey revealed positive responses. The study's findings show that the students did have some increase intheir perceptions on their English reading skills and competence. The study suggests that Englishteachers should integrate bottom-up activities with top-down activities in English reading instruction.Considering the results of this investigation, English reading teachers may integrate intensive andextensive reading as well as oral and written English practice in an English reading class. Furthermore,an alternative assessment including both standardized tests and portfolio assessment could stimulatestudents' motivation on English learning. |
