中文摘要 | 在兢爭日趨激烈的銀行產業演進過程中,時間序列觀察發現,七十年代後期產生策略轉折點。影響產業結構之因素由法令、寡占無策略經營轉接成範疇經濟、策略導向、新興金融業務、及獨特兢爭武器,不同銀行對於環境認知程度不一,採取策略並不一致,可能使其績效產生差異,本文以國內一般商業銀行為研究對象,透過問卷與訪談,得到初級問卷資料進行八種統計分析,歸納出三個策略群組,就此三群成員進行財務資料差異分析,得到下列結論:1.產業生態的改變:金融自由化的結果,原有兢爭方式產生改變,產業內有策略轉折點的發生。2.策略群組的存在:分析結果顯示策略群組的存在,群組一成員多屬省屬行庫及績效較為不佳之新設商銀,群組二成員主要為新設商銀與專業銀行,群組二成員較為多元。3.群組間績效有顯著差異:除流動性指標外,其他三項指標(獲利性、效率性、安全性)呈現顯著差異,在群組間的比較部份,群組二在獲利性與效率性皆優於其他兩組,安全性部份則以群組一較佳。 |
英文摘要 | From the developing process of Taiwan banking industry, we could find the old structuring patterns including law, monopoly, non-strategic management to have been replaced by new competitive structure including economics of scope, strategic orientation, new financial products and unique competitive weapons. Due to different environment recognition, every bank adopts different strategies and gets different financial performance. The study attempts to exploit the relationship between the strategies and performance of commercial banks. Eight statistical methods are used. Conclusions can be drawn as follows: 1. The ecology of banking industry is affected by strategic turning point. 2. There exist strategic groups. 3. There exist significant performance difference among different strategic groups. |
