英文摘要 | Ths present note is aimed to investigate simple, plane creeping corner flows. The boundary for flow fields is a couple of plates which are arranged in connection. Furthermore, fluid is allowed to pass through the plates. Method of similarity transformation is employed, at first, to find the analytical solution of streamfunction. Then study some interesting physical phenomena of corner flow for which the two plates, on the boundary, are orthogonal. When the plates are moved (no fluid passing through them) or the plates are fixed (fluid normally passing), and the corresponding directioins of velocities on the both plates are opposite, a special streamline would appear. This streamline is formed as a straight-line to split the entire flow domain into two regions. Mass transport of fluid through the interface between the two separated zones dose not exist. The slope of the streamline is varied depending on the ratio of the two velocities on the boundary. The functional relationship in-between the both quantities could be exactly identified. When flow is driven by two moving plates and the value of the ratio for the two boundary velocities highly increases, the slope is proportional to the reciprocal of the ratio. On the other hand, when fluid flow normally through the two fixed plates and the value of the ratio for the two boundary velocities highly increases, the slope is proportional to the reciprocal of square root of the ratio. |
