英文摘要 | Osseointgration in dental implants is achieved by bone healing. It can be divided into three stages: woven bone formation, lamellar bone formation, modeling and remodeling Clinically, osseointegration is evaluated by assessing bone density and implant mobility; however, in scientific research, osseointegration is often discussed with the biological push-out failure load and the bone-implant interface ratio at light microscopy. At light microscopic observation, we can find direct contact between dental implants and bone. Under the electron microscopic investigation, there still exists a gap between implants and bone. We can observe amorphous structure, collagen, electron dense line or some cellular components in that gap. To achieve osseointegration implant therapy, we need not only a thorough treatment plan and strict case selections but also appropriate implant surface treatments and adequate loading. |
