英文摘要 | The development of a technique of nondestructive dry-weight estimates for plant parts is very important for analyzing growth models of Phalenopsis leaves. To avoid the effects of plant growth, the dry weight of Phalenopsis leaves must be evaluated by the measurement of other factors. The relationship between dry weight of leaves and other physical properties need to be established in advance. Five dimensions of physical properties of Phalenopsis leaves are measured in this study. The products of leaf length and mazimum width, defined as K values, have pretty high correlation coefficients with dry weights or leaf area. The linear function between logarithmic dry weights and logarithmic K values was the adequate model by regression analysis. No significant difference could be found among data sets of four varieties with this model by statistical F test. The dry weights of Phalenopsis could be estimated indirectly by the measurement of leaf length and mazimum width, then be calculated by empirical equation. The approach is simple, rapidly and inexpensive. |
