中文摘要 | 目前大多數人有機會接受大學教育,並被培養成為有用人才。本文發 掘四項明顯的大學教學問題:(1)目前國內大學教師及學生的行政管理驅力偏高, (2)大學教師及學生均有追求的熱誠,但卻不明瞭自己追求的熱誠所在,亦即不知 道在追求什麼(3)教師及學生本行學問上之「會」與「不會」,「專精」與「不專 精」,其間仍待商榷,及(4)教師及學生缺乏充分時間「內省」、「追尋」、及「思 考」,因此很難形成學說、理論、或應用氣氛。筆者於十五年前畢業於美國俄亥 俄州立大學,並獲得博士學位後,廣徵社會各階層人士對大學教育的看法,結果 自己重新肯定大學及研究所教育的重要性及師長、同學與實習的影響力量,可謂 「學術界」仍有存在之必要。本文著重探討下列兩方面:(1)教師的專精與專業, 及(2)現代大學生的學習之困擾,結果提出兩項建議:(1)教師及學生應擁有平衡健 康的心態,與社會互動,並做付出心力的學習,及(2)把握積極與消極人生態度的 原則,避免眼高手低,或缺乏人生目標、職業成熟度、或責任感。 |
英文摘要 | At present, opportunities are presented to many to receive higher education. This article discovers four obvious college teaching and learning problems : (l)Currently,author observe college teachers and students possess high degree of administra tive drive,(2)teachersand students have searching passion, but without knowing searching directions,(3)teachersand students' field capability and professionality deserve questionmg@and(4)teachers andstudents are lack of introspective, and investigative drive, therefore college research andapplication climate is lacking. Fifteen years ago.after author graduated from the Ohio State University.receiving anPh.D., surveyed many teachers, and finally made a judgement on herself the importance ofcollege education and the significant influence of teachrs, peers, and field experiences. This article focuses on two faces of college learning : (1)teachers' capability and attitudes,and (2)modern college students' learning difficulties, and give two suggestions : (1)teachers and students should develop healthy mentality, interact with society in general, andshow hard work; and(2)use positive learning strategies,and aviod of lacking mission or responsibility in his/her personal teaching career. |
