英文摘要 | Logistic regression is employed to compare the difference among schools about students' attitude towards entering higher education or getting a job. The survey sample consists of students, about to graduate from five-year junior colleges located in southern Taiwan. 41.5% of the respondents preferred higher education, 23.5% of them would like to get a job, and 6% liked both. In addition, 47.4% of them were preparing for entrance examinations before graduating from schools. The results show that most of the respondents were eager to enter higher education. The respondents' mothers, whose education levels are university, expected their children to enter universities. Therefore, the students, who own this background or prepare for entrance examinations to two-year technology colleges, take a stronger attitude towards entering higher education than others. Simultaneously, fathers' careers and education levels as well as in-school scores, play an important role in students' decisions' about entering higher education or getting a job. In addition, it makes no difference to schools in preparing for entrance examinations. The extensions of education channels do strengthen students' faith in entering higher education. However, the respondents who would like to -et a job think that shifting the learning field and accumulating 'oh experience are important to them. Furthermore, peer experience affects students' decisions deeply. |
