英文摘要 | The aim of this study was to compare the pulsatility index (PI) and resistance index (RI) among different locations of uterine arteries in early and mid-menstrual phases. Patients accepting controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) and intrauterine insemination (IUI) were included in this study. The PI/RI values of five locations of uterine arteries were measured, including: ascending branch; descending branch; proximate, near branch division; middle, distal division 0.5 cm lateral to division; and lateral locations, distal division 1 cm lateral to division. Two surveys of uterine arteries included menstrual days 2-3 and 14-16. The PI/RI values of the different locations, menstrual phases, and patient ages were compared. The mean PI/RI values of uterine arteries were as follows: ascending branch, 2.85 ± 1.19/0.91 ± 0.12; descending branch, 2.64 ± 1.15/0.88 ± 0.12; proximate, 2.87 ± 1.26/0.89 ± 0.14; middle, 3.02 ± 1.02/0.90 ± 0.07; and lateral locations, 3.22 ± 1.38/0.89 ± 0.12. The overall mean PI/RI value of uterine arteries was 3.01 ± 1.24/0.90 ± 0.12. The PI values of uterine arteries for different phases and ages were: 2.86 ± 1.14 (days 2-3); 3.08 ± 1.31 (days 14-16); 2.82 ± 1.21 (≦ 30 years); 2.9 ± 1.33 (>30 years). The PI/RI values among different locations, menstrual phases and ages revealed no significant differences. We concluded that PI/RI values of different locations of uterine arteries, menstrual phases, and ages of the patients accepting COH and IUI were not significantly different. The tendency for the higher PI values of the lateral uterine artery, mid-menstrual phase and age >30 years were noted. The PI/RI values of middle uterine arteries represented those of the overall uterine arteries in patients accepting COH and IUI. |
