中文摘要 | 本研究主要探討臺中師院學生使用BBS、WWW與E-Mail的使用情形與其使用態度, 以及對Internet的評價。以問卷的方式來了解不同性別、系別與年級間學生對BBS、WWW與 E-Mail以及對Internet的態度之間差異情形,並探討其使用動機與使用態度之間的差異情 形。本研究發現,有97.8%的學生會用BBS,有70.5%的學生會用WWW與79%的學生會使用 E-Mail。雖然不同性別、系別與年級學生在使用動機與態度上有差異,但所有學生對BBS、 WWW與E-Mail以及對Internet的看法皆持肯定的態度。Internet已成為新興的大眾媒體, 學校如能善加利用與以改善教學內容,激發學生思考與發揮其創造力,將可改善學生學習效 果,為師院生在授入教師生涯前即做好基本資訊素養的準備工作。 |
英文摘要 | This study is to investigate the attitudes of college students at Taichung Teachers College towards the use of the Internet as an educational resource. Students from different departments, gender and grades were tested. A questionnaire was used to examine their use of BBS, WWW, and E-Mail as well as the factors influencing their use and attitude. BBS was used by 97.8 percent of respondents, WWW was used by 70.5 percent of respondents, and E-Mail was used by 79 percent of respondents. Students used BBS primarily for recreation, WWW for accessing information, and E-Mail for exchanging information with others. The results indicate that the students generally felt that their experiences with the Internet were positive although there were significant differences among their departments, genders, and grades. As the Internet is rapidly becoming an expected means of communication for life, colleges must provide instruction in the use of Internet. Teachers should design effective instructional curriculum to stimulate students' thinking skills and promote their creative capability. Based on these responses, more structured and aggressive suggestions for using the Internet resources is recommended. |
