中文摘要 | 本研究係利用某技術學院二年制86學年度獨立招生英文科測驗結果,針對護理系, 食品營養系及醫務管理系之學生,分別為 1913 人, 630 人及 397 人之樣本,依 50 題試 驗中:字彙,文法,對話,慣用語,翻譯及閱讀 (份別佔 13,9,10,9, 及 9 題 ) 五大 項逐類進行評比,以瞭解不同科別考生對不同題型的答題能力。結果顯示:字彙,文法,慣 用語, 閱讀及翻譯等題型,考生成績均呈現常態分佈特性 (X 值,分別為 3/13,3/9,4/9 ,4/10)。而對話一項則呈現雙峰分佈 (分別於 1/10 及 8/10 處出現 )。 表示考生英文會 話程度好壞差異甚大,且有兩極化份佈特性。本研究將實際考生考績分佈特性分析後,可以 提供未來加強學生英文科學習及改進教學之依據。 |
英文摘要 | This paper aims to analyze the English subtest scores of independ-ently-held institute of technology entrance examination for students applying to enter the Departments of Nursing, Food and Nutrition as well as that of Healthcare Administration. In this subtest, 50 questions covering vocabulary (13), grammar (9), dialogue (10), idioms (9) and translation and reading (9) were constructed. For all students taking the English subtest, a normal distribution of the scores in vocabulary, grammar, idioms, and translation and reading is found with modes 3/13, 3/9, 4/9 and 4/10 respectively, while the score in dialogue appears to have a bi-peak distribution with peaks at 1/10 and 8/10. The study of the English Subtest Scores of the Entrance Examination reveals the weeknesses of students' performance. This analysis assists in understanding the students' English ability among the different departments and in improving and strengthening future English teaching at the institute entrylevel. |
