| 中文摘要 | Collagen accounts for around 25-30% of all body protein, making it the most abundant mammalian protein. A natural polymer, collagen, has many merits as a biomaterial. Collagen is non-antigenic, biocompatible, non-toxic and biodegrad able, and it promotes blood coagulation. Collagen can be prepared in a number of different forms. In adition, other materials with modification capabilities are available to enhance its properties. Collagen-based biomaterials are used in diverse areas such as hemostats, wound and burn dressing, nerve regeneration, and drug-delivery systems. Collagen-based biomaterials are highly promising their potential applications heightened by increasing research. |
