英文摘要 | The KTB process is developed by KSC from Japan, this new process supplies oxygen gas to the vacuum vessel of recirculating-type degasser through a water-cooled lance. It can increase the molten temperature and decarburization efficiency. To data, more than 31 KTB units have been installed at steel works in the world. KTB is used for producing not only Ultra-low carbon steel but also high alloy steel. It also has the benefit of desulfurizing in the vacuum vessel and the temperature control. This report summarizes the function and effect of CSC No.4RH KTB, and discusses the possible direction of future development. |
