中文摘要 | 以電腦虛擬實境技術為基礎之簡易駕駛模擬裝置,具有開發時程短暫、設施成本 低廉與高操作安全性等特點,然而,也正因其裝備看似簡陋,而使其真實性與實用性受到質 疑;本文為瞭解以簡單型汽車駕駛模擬裝置作為跟車模擬實驗研究工具之合適性,乃嘗試發 展一套可逐步檢核簡單型汽車駕駛模擬裝置在特定實驗項目之驗證分析程序。 本研究首先回顧駕駛模擬系統的驗證方法,與量測跟車感識門檻值的實驗方法;其次, 以虛擬實境技術建立跟車模擬實驗之虛擬環境,並進行二輛車之跟車模擬實驗設計與跟車資 料蒐集;其後則嘗試從主觀的駕駛者駕車時之加減速現象,與較客觀之駕車反應時間、加速 擾動跟跟車動作感識門檻值等角度,來探討從簡單型汽車駕駛模擬裝置所蒐集資料之正確性 與可靠度,並從而推出發生跟車動作之車間距門檻值。研究結果發現,藉由簡單型汽車駕駛 模擬裝置所完成之跟車模擬實驗,在主觀的衡量項目上產生與一般駕駛者相似的加減速現 象;在較客觀之五種分析項目中除「間距改變量與車間距之比值」與實驗室結果較接近外, 其餘皆落Braunstein et al.□、Evans et al. □、Herman et al. □、Michaels□、 Montroll□、Ozaki□、Rock□等人之道路實驗結果範圍內,因此,在尚未進行其他相關駕駛 績效測試實驗之前,目前本研究所構建完成之簡單型汽車駕駛模擬裝置,是適合以本實驗裝 置替代較具危險性之真實道路跟車測試實驗。 |
英文摘要 | The simplified driving simulator based on the technique of virtual reality has the advantages of short deploying schedule, low facility cost, and high operating safety environment. However, it has been questioned for its reality and applicability due to its simplification. To find out the fitness of using a simplified driving test simulator as a car following experiment tool, we try to deploy its validation process on a specific experimental task. In this paper, we first review the methods of the validation of driving simulator and the ways to find the perceptual threshold of car-following behavior. Second, we construct a virtual freeway environment with the technique of virtual reality for the two vehicles car-following experiment test and data collecting. Then, we try to analyze the accuracy and the reliability of the data retrieved from our experiment in terms of the driving actions of speeding and decelerating, test drivers' reaction time, acceleration noise, and perceptual threshold of car-following. We then deduce the spacing threshold when the test drivers behave car-following on the virtual road. The results indicate that the subjective view of driving actions is consistent with the real driving actions of acceleration or deceleration. Despite the perceptual threshold of spacing-change divided by spacing of its closeness to the laboratory experimental result, the other indexes fell into the range of road test experiments of Braunstein et al.□, Evans et al.□, Herman et al.□ ,MichaeIs□, Montroll□, Ozaki□, and Rock□. Thus the present simplified driving test device is now suitable for substituting a real but dangerous car-following experiments before we do any other validation studies about this device. |
