| 英文摘要 | Low temperature plasma desizing from polyester and polyester/cotton blended gray was studied. The desizing efficiency depends on the gases as well as pressure and power chosen. The higher the pressure the better efficiency was obtained. However, in order to maintain the quality of the cloth treated, the pressure should not exceed 0.5 Torr. About 70 % size was removed after plasma treatment for 20 minutes. In contrast, 90% of size was removed while the cloth was pre-washed in a hot bath and subsequently treated in a plasma atmosphere for 5 minutes. |
