英文摘要 | This paper aims to give a straightforward decription of various language teaching approaches. It introduces the Grammar Translation Approach, Direct Approach, Situational Approach and Audiolingualism, Cognitive Approach, Total Physical Response, Natural Approach, Suggestopedia, Silent Way, Community Language Teaching and Communicative Language Teaching. It is structured to provide a detailed account of the theoretical bases and general tenets underlying each method. Also, the classroom procedures and techniques that these approaches use are included. |
