中文摘要 | 在本篇論文中,首先我針對現行的教育制度,探討目前聯考入學所引起的英語教學缺失;並分析文法翻譯英語教學法與溝通式英語教學法,兩種教學法的優缺點。其後,我提出兩種針對目前英語教學困境的解決方法,其一是讓學童儘早置身於英語口語交談的學習環境中;其二是採用補救措施去改善學生的英語聽、說能力。本論文中,我也特別針對臺灣地區的專科生,提出實用的英語教學策略,以改善因現存英語教學缺失,所造成的聽、說能力不足。這些教學方法,均已應用於本人任教的專科班級及二技專生身上,在聽、說能力方面均得到良好的效果。 |
英文摘要 | In this paper, I first deal with the shortages of our English educational system, mainly caused by the entrance exam and two teaching methods-grammar translation (G-T) and communicative language teaching (CLT). And then I propose two solutions to current difficulties. Firstly, get children involved in an English speaking environment as early as possible. Secondly, we take remediable measures to improve their speaking and listening ability. This paper focuses on useful and practical strategies for English teaching in Taiwan at college level to improve present defects existing in our English educational system. These strategies I have applied to my class have proved to be very effective with students who lack proficiency in oral and speaking skills. |
