中文摘要 | 本研究的主要目的在於探討焦點團體法在臺灣的醫院之可行性,及讓民眾表達對 醫院看法的反應。茲以此方法在三家已推行品質管理相關活動之醫院(桃療八里分院、省立 臺北醫院、彰化秀傳紀念醫院)各進行一次,分別對不同的疾病(精神病、直腸外科、自然 產產婦)與不同的對象(病患家屬、本人、產婦及其先生),邀請相關且有意願參與之民眾 ,進行小團體的深度訪談,期以表現院方注重顧客需求的誠意與具體作法。 共計有二十人參與三次的座談會,平均花費時間約為一小時半,使用經費從五百元到一萬元 不等。由研究結果得知,焦點團體確實是一種經濟、迅速,且能讓病患及家屬有被重視的感 覺,能暢所欲言,充份表達意見的方式;醫護人員也可由訪談結果,得知所提供的服務在病 人及其家屬的真正感受;醫院也可由此得到改善服務的具體建議,同時也是醫院建立口碑所 不可或缺,是一種值得推廣的方法。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to apply the focus group method to hospitals in Taiwan to obtain opinions from patients. Three focus groups met at three different hospitals. The hospitals were Provincial Tao-Yuan Psychiatric Hospital (Pa-Li Branch), Provincial Taipei Hospital, and Show-Chuan Memorial Hospital. The subjects in these groups included psychiatric patients, patients with hemorrhoids, and women who had normal spontaneous deliveries and their husbands. We asked for voluntarily participation. Altogether twenty people joined the three focus group discussions. Each meeting took one and a half hours on average. The actual expenses for hospitals ranged from NT 500 to NT 10,000 dollars. In conclusion, the focus group is a convenient and inexpensive way for hospitals to solicit opinions from their clients. Patients and their familieshave an opportunity to express their feelings. Medical practitioners can get direct feedback about their performance. Hospitals can get specific suggestions to improve their service quality. It is worthwhile to promote this method in more hospitals to improve service quality. |
