英文摘要 | This study employs multi-channel calculation and edge-enhancement to analyze the continuity of seismic impedance in seismic data. The result will be a great help in manifesting fault evolution and sedimentary characteristics, especially the time slice of the 3-D seismic data. The discontinuity can also be used in the statistic analysis of seismic wave characteristics. The study improves the current method of calculation, and calculates the continuity using seismic impedance. The improved method is applied to the data gained from two 3-D seismic areas, A and B, to exhibit the seismic data in a different form. This will recover the place where seismic data break up and enable interpreters to gain more subsurface information. The discontinuity of seismic data gives great help for interpreters to understand the 3-D distribution of faults as well as the facies chang of formations. This can provide some very important information for both structure evolution and stratigraphic interpretation that cannot be done on the traditional data. This is particularly meaningful to the 3-D seismic interpretation. As the seismic technology develops, the quantity and speed of generating data is tremendously increased. Using computer's powerful calculating and sorting funcions to handle massive data, as well as the advanced visualization technology to help commencing interpretation, the work can be done more effeciently and nicely, and this should be the direction for the development in the future. |
