英文摘要 | The cucurbitaceae is consisted of about ninety genera and 750 species, nine genera and thirty species have been cultivated among them. Most species of the family are indigenous to tropical or subtropical regions. The cultivated cucurbitaceae have many diseases and insects in common, with the result that yield or quality is reduced, or the plants may be destroyed entirely. The flowers of the family are relatively large in most species, and easily hand-pollinated and each fruit yields from several ten to hundred seeds. With a very significant heterosis phenomena in this family, F�� hybrids are very commonly used. Cucumber is a member of the cucurbitaceae and one of the very important vegetable crops. In this subject, sources of some important diseases resistant material, for downy mildew, viruses, anthracnose, powdery mildew, scab, angular leaf spot, bacterial wilt, belly rot, fusarium wilt and phytophora blight as well as all female flowers character in cucumber are listed. Finally, the utilization of germplasm for viruses, downy mildew, and scab resistance and gynoecious lines for F�痛ybrid production are discussed. |
