中文摘要 | 菸草胡瓜嵌紋病抗病育種計畫自1966年開始進行,首先選用具有五對抗病基因(N,rm₁,rm₂,t₁,t₂)的Holme氏抗病品系作為抗病親本,與本所選育成功之抗立枯病品種臺菸三號(Vamfen-Hicks)及其他品質優良品種回交4-6次,再予雜交重組,經歷多年選拔,檢定與各項試驗結果,分別於1982年育成,臺菸六與七號及1987年育成臺菸八號,並予推廣栽培,各該品種為目前世界各國中首先育成及推廣栽培之菸草胡瓜嵌紋病抗病品種。 菸草胡瓜嵌紋病抗病品種臺菸六,七與八號對菸草TMV均具有近以〝免疫〞的抗病性,因此對於TMV具有100%的防治效果。各該抗病品種對CMV病害,亦均較原有推廣栽培品種TT5等可減少病害損失約在50%左右。臺菸八號對於菸草立枯病的耐病性,亦較原有抗病品種TT5為強,可減少立枯病害罹病率約10%左右。(TT5,14.78%;TT8,4.96%)。 臺菸六,七,八號等抗病品種因菸葉質量均優,可增加菸農收益約7%-12%左右,因此甚受菸農歡迎,但由於有關因素限制,目前(1988-1989年期)種植面積約佔全省菸田總面積37%左右。 |
英文摘要 | The cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) resistance breeding program was started in 1966 by using Holme's resistant line, having five resistant genes, N, rm₁, rm₂, t₁ and t₂, as source of resistance. After 4-6 backcrosses to susceptible commercial varieties, three CMV resistant varieties, TT6, TT7 in 1982 and TT8 in 1987 were released. The CMV resistant tobacco varieties, TT6, TT7 and TT8 showed nearly immune to TMV. The % reduction of CMV infection rate when compared with a check was 50%. It outyielded the CK variety and had higher leaf quality, so that the value per hectare showed 7-12% higher. It is worthy of mention that when TT8 was grown in the field with bacterial with infestation, damage was also reduced and the profit from growing it was thus greatly increased. In 1988-1989 planting, the resistant varieties were planted to 37% of the total growing acreage. |
