英文摘要 | The random decrement technique has often been applied to random data to extract meaningful information. The random data are usually measured in terms of velocity or acceleration. This paper provides a rigorous mathematical proof for the equivalent relationship between velocity Randomdec signatures and free decay response signals, assuming that the input is a Gaussian white-noise vector process such that its correlation matrix is in the form of P�慼慫_ (τ ), where �慼� is a constant, and δ (τ) is a Dirac delta function. However, such an equivalent relationship is not valid for acceleration Randomdec signatures, which must be noted when using the acceleration data. Finally, an example on the ambient vibration test of a full-scale test frame is given to demonstrate the validity of combining the random decrement technique with the Ibrahim time-domain technique to identify the dynamic characteristics of a system. The identified results are compared with those from forced vibration test and finite element analysis of ETABS. |
