英文摘要 | 泰來海草(Thalassia hemprichii (Ehrenb.)Aschers.)為臺灣南部海域潮間帶海 草床最具優勢之種類,因此我們從 1995 年十月至 1996 年十二月間於南灣及其對岸之大光 沿岸海草床上之數條固定測線,每兩個月一次研究其覆蓋度、植株密度與葉片生長速率之時 間性變異。南灣及大光之泰來海草床覆蓋度、植株密度及葉片生長率均呈現顯著之季節性變 化,但是兩地區間並無顯著差異。泰來海草床覆蓋度以六月或八月以及十月較高,而植株密度 以六月較多,十二月至二月間較少。葉片生長速率則以十月或十二月時較快,二月或四月時 較慢。地下物與地上物生物量之比值則以十二月或二月較高,四至八月間較低。地上物生物 量皆少於地下物生物量。正典相關分析結果顯示降雨量、水溫及水層中營養鹽濃度與泰來海 草覆蓋度、植株密度與葉片生長速率之時間性變異有正相關之關係,而風速與海草床白天曝 曬時間則存在負相關之關係。但是在這些環境因子中,泰來海草床之時間性變異主要決定於 平均風速與降雨量。 ferent. Canonical correlation analysis indicated that temperature, water-column nutrient concentration and rainfall were positively correlated, and daylight exposure time and wind speed negatively correlated, with the dynamics of T. hemprichii. Among these variables, wind speed and rainfall were most responsible for the observed temporal changes in southern Taiwan, which has a monsoonal climate and distinct wet and dry seasons. |
