英文摘要 | The purpose of this experiment was to discover the influence of modified circulation of normal high bed weaning house on inside house environment, growth performance, and morbidity of weaning pigs. During October and November, two weaning houses were used, one with a fully opened door as control group, the other with closed door as experimental group. Three automatically controlled fans were operated at 26℃ to control the temperature and ammonia concentration in the air of pig houses. The pigs were raised from five weeks to eight weeks of age. Feeds provided contained 20% crude protein, and pig houses were washed every seven days during experiment. Pigs were weighed two times at the beginning ending of the experiment, and feed intake was recorded weekly. Respiratory system diseases of experimental pigs were also observed. The results showed that the weaning house with colsed door and automatically controlled fans reduced the ammonia concentration at a level of 64%; however, there was no positive influence on the growth performance of pigs from five weeks to eight weeks of age. |
