英文摘要 | Brewer's grain, corn grain and soybean meal were combined together by a mixing truck, and put into a sausage silage bag to make one hundred and fifty metric tons of silage for at least two months. The unit cost of the material for the silage was NT$ 2.88/kg (based on the prices of grains in 1994), and the cost of making this kind of silage was NT$ 0.17/kg. Chemical analysis of corn-brewer's grain silage showed that the dry matter content, crude protein content and total digestible nutrients were 58%, 16% and 78%, respectively. The Flieg's score of the silage was 77. The dry matter degradability, chemical and amino acids contents of the ensiled-corn grain and original dry corn grain were examined individually. The results showed that there were no significant difference in chemical contents and amino acids contents between them. But the dry matter degradability of ensiled corn grain was greater than that of dry corn grain in the rumen. |
