英文摘要 | A cylinder-on-plate reciprocated sliding testing machine and a tension- compression testing machine were used to compare the wear, tension and fatigue performance of the specimenswith Ti-base and Cr-base coatings grown by physical vapor deposition process. The fracture mechanisms were examined utilizing a scanning electron microscope and an optical microscope. The experimental results are as follows: The Cr-base coatings possessed farbetter wear resistance than the Ti-base coatings. The application of surface films didn't affectthe Young's modulus and yield points but did little decrease the fracture strain. For fatigue,the application of the surface coatings improved the fatigue limit by 20-40 MPa. |
