中文摘要 | 本文沿用專利競賽模型,探討市場結構與技術引進後的調整性研究發展對技術 生根的影響。同時亦將研發的外溢效果對於技術引進與技術生根的影響納入模型加以分析 。研究結果指出,何種市場結構較有利於技術生根,關鍵在於技術引進費用與調整性R&D 的關係以及競爭者的技術效率。此外外溢效果的增加,雖然使得從事技術引進的廠商數, 以及每一廠商之調整性R&D減少,但可以加速在產業層級形成相關的技術基礎,與促進新 引進之技術成為該產業所共有之能力,因此外溢效果必然會加快技術生根的腳步,只是增 加的速度隨外溢程度增其而漸趨和緩。 |
英文摘要 | This paper studies the effects of market structure and adaptive R&D on technology rootage by using the patent race model. We also consider the effects of R&D spillover. Our results indicate that the kind of market structure conducive to technology rootage depends on the relationship between the expenditure on technology imports and adaptive R&D, as well as the technological efficiency of competitors. Although the increase in R&D spillover reduces the number of firms who import technology and the adaptive R&D of each firm, it speeds up the technological developmand of related industries and increases the possibility that the new technology will be jointly owned by the industry. Therefore, R&D spillover increases the speed of technology rootage at a decreasing rate. |
