中文摘要 | 本研究探討活性白土對酸性染料C.I. Acid Blue 9之吸附現象,在實驗中採用不同的操作因子,如攪拌轉速、溶液pH值、吸附劑粒徑大小、吸附劑用量、染料初濃度、溫度及離子強度等,來探討其吸附行為,並與活性白土吸附鹽基性染料之結果相比較。另外,吸附劑之外表面質傳係數,亦引用Mckay等人所提出之微分法及積分法模式來計算。研究結果發現,在吸附初期,即時間接近零時,活性白土即能很快吸附酸性染料,而且吸附行為均能以 Langmuir 等溫吸附模式來描述,與活性白土吸附鹽基性染料時相似,且二者均屬物理吸附,但是單位吸附劑所能吸附酸性染料的量明顯低於鹽基性染料。而各操作因子對活性白土吸附酸性染料的影響,則與其吸附鹽基性染料時有相似之結果,但活性白土吸附酸性染料之外表面質傳係數,卻明顯比吸附鹽基性染料者大。 |
英文摘要 | This study investigated the adsorption behavior of acidic dye C.I. Acid Blue 9 (AB 9) on the activated clay. In the experiments, various operating parameters including the agitation speed, the pH value, the particle size and the quantity of clay, the initial concentration of dye, the temperature and the ionic strength of the solution had direct effects upon adsorption. The mechanism of adsorption was explained by a charge to electrostatic attractive force and could be described with the Lamgmuir adsorption isotherm. Furthermore, the adsorption capacity of acidic dye was significantly smaller than that of the basic dye. On the other hand, the external mass transfer coefficient of AB 9 dye was larger than that of the basic dyes. The parameters examined showed similar effects in operation as for the basic dyes investigated previously. |
