中文摘要 | 在第二語言或外國語的相關理論提出數個關於合作學習的優點,這些優點包括:增加學生在課堂上說話的機會、製造較輕鬆的教室氣氛、引起學生較大的學習動機、鼓勵學生參與字意的探討及提升學的理解能力。在合作學習的活動中,角色扮演(role play)似乎是一種適當且有效的活動設計。本研究中,學生們以分組呈現角色扮演的方式來探討三個主要問題:1)從學生的觀點來看,本活動是否公平且適當?1)學生是否感受到本活動能增加其對英文的興趣?2)學生是否學到與同儕間溝通與分享意見的重要性? 研究結果顯示大多數的學生認為此活動設計是能被接受的,並且是適當的;然而在打分數及表演的時限方面卻有些意見。此外,學生可由此活動體認出英文不只是課本上的文法與字彙,它也是一種表達和溝通的工具。然而,卻有超過一半的學生不認為此次的活動增進了他們對英文方面的自信心及興趣。最後,部份的學生覺得從這次的活動中,能感受到溝通、分享及尊重他人的重要性。 |
英文摘要 | Theory in second/foreign language learning has proposed several advantages for cooperative learning, such as increasing student talk, more relaxed classroom atmosphere, greater motivation, more negotiation of meaning, and increasing amounts of comprehensive input. Among cooperative projects, role-play appears to be a suitable and effective project work. In this study students presented a role-play performance with the aim of investigating three questions: 1) Is the design of this project fair and appropriate from students' viewpoint? 2) Do students feel that this project can enhance interest in English? 3) Do students learn the importance of communicating ideas and sharing experiences with their teammates in the process of doing this project? The results showed that the majority of students thought this project was generally acceptable and appropriate, except for the high proportion of grading and timing. Secondly, students reported that this project made them feel English is a tool for expressing and communicating ideas, not only grammar and vocabulary. However, more than half of the students did not agree or were indecided that doing this project had increased their interest and confidence in English. Finally, most students felt they had comprehended the importance of communication, sharing, and respecting each other as a result of carrying out this projects. |
