英文摘要 | Experiments were conducted in this study to determine the local heat transfer performance in a rotating single-pass passage with ribs normal to the flow. Ribs on the trailing and leading walls of the radial coolant passage were used to produce the rough walls. Experimental results were compared with previous results from stationary and rotating similar passages. We can conclude that a singificant enhancement is achieved in the heat transfer in both the stationary and rotating cases resulting from and installation of the ribs. Additionally, the rotation effect on heat transfer performance from rib-roughened surfaces is stronger on the trailing wall than on the leading wall. Fruthermore, the Reynolds number substantially influences the Nusselt numbers in the rib-roughened passage of both the stationary and rotating cases. |
