英文摘要 | An asymptotic two time scales approach are proposed in the present modified two phase k-ε turbulent equations to simulate the turbulence due to bubble agitation effects for subcooled nucleate flow boiling. It simplifies the computational efforts in dealing with interfacial coupling between two phases based on the locally homogenized two dimensional two phase flow model. With the enhanced turbulent viscosity, the information of turbulence due to bubble agitation effects are retained by the diffusion form of governing equations. The predicted axial area averaged void distributions, liquid velocity distributions and bulk temperature distribution as well as the lateral void distributions agree well with the experimental data in this study. These results suggest that the approach based on the locally homogenized two dimensional two phase flow model with proposed enhanced turbulence is capable of predicting subcooled nucleate flow boiling in a channel. |
