英文摘要 | TSI unit is the path switching card of SONET ADM150. It can perform the interchanging function at VT and STS-1 signal levels. The VT1.5 and VT2 are used to transport DS1 and E1 signals, respectively. The DS3 signal is transported within STS-1.Besides the Add-Drop capability, it can also support broadcasting and Drop-Continue functions. The maximum switching capability of the TSI unit is 252 VT1. 5s, 189 VT2s or 9 STS-1s. In this paper, the architecture of hardware and software and the characteristic of this board design will be discussed in detail. Finally, the testing procedures and the results will be given. |
