中文摘要 | 本研究實地觀察記錄一位國中一年級英語文初學者從1994年1月至1995年6月的習得過程,研究的主要目的是想要深入了解初學者之英語文習得過程,探討在整個過程中,英語文教師何時可以介入、該如何介入,如何作正確的語言診斷與治療,以誘導學生走向更有效率的學習方向。 研究結果發現,英語文初學者--Nancy 其英語文習得過程大致分為三個階段:一是適應摸索階段,二是語文習得理解階段,三是獨立學習階段。在此三階段語文習得過程中,由於英語文輔導老師適當地、正確地、耐心地作語言診斷與治療,Nancy由原先相當被動、沒自信、緊張害怕,脫胎換骨般成為一個獨立自主的學習者,並且在英文學期成績方面有長足的進步。 |
英文摘要 | The present study observed and recorded the learning process of a junior high school student when she began to learn English as the First Foreign Language from January, 1994 to June, 1995. The purpose of the study aims to explore the learning process of English language at the very beginning. Through the true understanding of language learning process, English teachers would realize when to participate in the process and how to make proper language diagnosis and remediation in order to assist students to be efficient learners. The result of the study shows that there are three important periods during the beginner's--Nancy's foreign language learning: 1) searching & finding period, 2) language comprehension period, and 3) independent learning period. With the assistance of her English teacher, Nancy had been changed affectively from a passive, unconfident, and nervous student to be a positive and independent language learner. Dramatically, Nancy also made a lot of progress in English testing scores. |
