英文摘要 | The blade crack near fir tree location occurs occasionally in steam turbines. A possible reason of this blade failure is due to unsteady flow interaction between stator and rotor. The unsteady flow interaction may generate excitation forces at nozzle passing frequency and its harmonics. This interaction is generally responsible for forced vibration, resonance and fatigue failure. This study is to use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technique to simulate the 3-D turbine flowfields. The goal is to compute the loading of the turbine blades used by the Taiwan Power Company. The computed results may provide information for structural analysis. |
