英文摘要 | RDS is a process to remove heteroatoms such as sulfur, Ni and V from atmospheric resid. Hydrotreated product can be sold as low sulfur fuel oil or used as feedstock for ROC (resid oil cracking) unit. Catalyst loading for the fixed bed requires resonable density profile that minimizes fluid maldistribution during the operation cycle. Proper presulfiding procedures ensure all the oxide metals in the catalyst be reacted to active sulfide form. During the operation cycle, temperature profile in the catalyst beds is closely monitored, catalyst reactivity is continuously checked using pilot plant data. In coorperation with RMRC researchers, #3 RDS engineers have the unit run smoothly. |
