中文摘要 | 柑橘油乃是由柑橘果汁經加工後所殘留的橘皮,再經乾燥蒸餾或冷壓抽出回收而得高品質之萃取精油。所萃取而得之精油,是一種油性化學混合物,本身不溶於水。故實用價值有限。本實驗證明,利用混合界面活性劑改善乳化過程,提升乳化效果,而得到相當穩定的乳液。 混合Tween與Span兩種非離子型界面活性劑在HLB值9∼14之間,且在適當之混合攪拌條件下;柑橘油與水可均勻溶化而得稱定乳白液。更詳細之條件,例如:Tween 20與Span 60之混合界面活性劑在HLB平均值13.1左右,添加量在5%,柑橘油可與水形成穩定乳化液,經粒徑分析顯示大約2.5 μm的直徑大小。此乳化液可做飲料或飲料添加劑使用,並增加其保存性。 |
英文摘要 | Orange oil can be obtained from extraction and distillations from orange peel. The oily material has limited applications because it is not soluble in water. By using surfactants, the oily material can be solubilized in ater to obtain a stable emulsion. The combination of Tween and Span series of surfactants at the combined HLB value of 9∼14 and at proper mixing conditions facilitates the emulsifing process of orange oil into a stable milky suspension. Specifically, the mixture of Tween 20 and Span 60 at combined HLB value of 13.1 and the dosage of 5 % renders the optimized result, a particle distribution of 2.3 μm diameter. The resulting emulsion is suggested to be used for food and soft drink additives. |
