英文摘要 | This paper presents a series of parking space development strategies based on the communitizing features of parking supply and demand. The proposed strategies are: to open the private park space in a building as a sharing parking space; to reorganize parking spaces on the local streets; to implement the resident parking priority concept with zoning; to encourage residents to build the public sharing parking lot; to reduce the parking demand by improving the accessibility of public transport, pedestrian and bicycle. Although the conceptual ideas seem promising, they are just at the very beginning. Many institutional and technical issues have to be carefully examined before these strategies may be implemented. |
