中文摘要 | 狼尾草為熱帶及亞熱帶地區高產量之牧草,為國內重要牧草品種之一。為配合地 區性反芻動物之需求及穩定芻料之供應,本試驗的目的在於經由地區性優良狼尾草品系之選 拔,並利用青貯調製技術,穩定供應芻料,進而瞭解其最佳飼養模式。由花蓮地區之試驗結 果顯示,於品種選拔方面,狼尾草台畜草二號產量高,比原 A146 高 14%,且產量穩定,盛 產季節在於每年 4 ~ 10 月,佔全年總生產量約 70%,適時收獲 (生育期 8 ~ 10 週,乾物 質 17 ~ 20%),水溶性碳水化合物高,可單獨調製 " 良好 " 等級之青貯料,無病蟲害,栽 培管理及收獲調製已完全機械化。 以三種模式飼養泌乳牛;(A) 新鮮狼尾草 + 青貯狼尾草 ,(B) 新鮮狼尾草 + 青貯狼尾草 + 百慕達乾草,(C) 新鮮狼尾草 + 青貯狼尾草 + 苜蓿草 。試驗結果顯示,當部分狼尾草由乾草取代時,其總乾物質攝食量增加。泌乳量方面以餵飼 C 組最高,比 B 組、A 組各高出 6 ~ 9%,乳脂率及乳比重亦以 C 組最佳。 因此,雖然狼 尾草台畜草二號可作為唯一芻料,然如配合苜蓿草並混合精料,調配成完全混合日糧給飼, 更為理想。綜合以上,以狼尾草台畜草二號為主之花蓮地區,其芻料生產及給飼模式已建立 ,可降低芻料成本,穩定乳量及乳品質。 |
英文摘要 | Pennisetum purpureum (napiergrass) is a high-yielding tropical and subtropical herbaceous biomass species. It is one of the most important forage grasses in Taiwan. The objectives of this investigation were to establish total forage program by selection of napiergrass strain best adapted to the cultivated region, harvesting the napiergrass at righ time with high dry matter, nutrition value and water soluble carbohydrates at production season to make good silage, and feeding green chopping, properly preserved silages along with the necessary hay and grain ration to provide a balanced ration. The new variety CV. TLG2 with high yields and high water soluble corbohydrate was selected from yield trial at Hwalien. It produced more 14% of forage yields than cultivar, CV. A146. The production season was from April to October and it was about 70% of total production in a year. The best harvesting time for green chopping and silages making was the uppermost leaf collar reached 1.5 ~ 2.0 m or growth interval about 8 ~ 10 weeks from April to October. It had higher dry mater, total digestble nutrient and water soluble carbohydrates. The silage quality of napiergrass without any additives was good according the results of Fleig's points. Three goups of dairy cows were fed on (1) green chopping and silage of napiergrass; (2) napiergrass and bermudagrass hay; (3) napiergrass and alfalfa hay. The intake of total dry matter increased when using hay to partially replace the napiergrass. The milk production of cows in Group 3 was 6 to 9% higher than the other two groups. The content of milk fat and specific gravity was also higher in Group 3 than the other two groups. Although napiergrass might be used as the only forage, the feeding results, showed that better milk production and quality were enhanced when alfalfa hay was replaced with a part of napiergrass. From the results, production of forage and feeding system for dairy cows was established by using napiergrass. Milk production and quality was improved and cost of raw milk and farm labor were reduced. |
