中文摘要 | 本研究利用醇解法合成一系列含剛硬結構(�B環)與柔軟結構(酯肪族二醇)的 �B系聚酯。探討在此逐步聚合反應系中,酯交換步驟與聚縮合步驟之最佳操作條件。並對成 品之玻璃轉移溫度,熱裂解溫度,結晶性與機械性,在反應物配方之不同下,將會有何影響 做一研究,並與目前廣泛使用的 PET、PBT 工程塑膠作一比較。本研究合成出一系列含�B聚 酯,其玻璃轉移溫度與熔點依二醇種類不同而改變。以目前市售商品 PET 及 PBT 的類似結 構 PEN,PBT 為例; PEN 的 Tg 高達 117 ℃,皆比 PET(70 ℃ ),PBT(55 ℃ ) 來得高, PBN 的 Tg 亦達 66 ℃,且需 PEN 的熔點比 PET 還高。 在機械性質方面 PEN 也是較 PET 為優良。由此可見,PEN 未來應用於薄膜和磁性記錄帶,將較 PET 為佳。 |
英文摘要 | Polyesters containing the rigid structure of naphthalene and a flexible aliphatic segment were synthesized from DMN and aliphatic diols by melt polycondensation in the presence of metallic catalysts. The effect of reaction temperature and time on the formation of polyester was investigated in order to obtain an optimum condition for polyesters manufacturing. Comparing the physical and mechanical properties of PEN and PBN with PET and PBT, we found the glass transition temperature of PEN is 117 ℃, wihch is about 50 ℃ higher than that of PET. The Tg of PBN (60 ℃ ) is alos higher than the Tg of PBT (50 ℃ ). The thermal decomposition temperature of poly (alkylene-2, 6-naphthdioates) is also higher than that of the corresponding poly (allkylene terepththalates). In addition, PEN or PBN have much better mechanical properties than PET and PBT. Therefore, a better applications of PEN than PET in films and magnetic recorder tapes can be expected. |
