英文摘要 | 本研究旨在檢驗啟示頓悟法之主要觀點在英語會話教學應用上之成效。除了檢驗 應用啟示頓悟教學是否能有效降低學生英語學習焦慮以及提升其英語口語能力以外,並期依 據研究結果加強改善本實驗教學之策略與技巧,以提升英語教學效果。本研究經由英語學習 焦慮量表選出國立臺北商專商文科五十三位英語學習焦慮度高的同學為對象。採隨機分派方 式將其分為兩組。其中實驗組二十四人,控制組二十九人。經 t-test 檢驗後,兩組樣本的 英語學習焦慮與英語口語能力均無顯著差異。本研究所使用的工具為英語學習焦慮量表,口 語能力測驗,以及回饋問卷,並採單因子獨立樣本共變數分析法進行檢驗經實驗教學後,實 驗組與控制組在英語學習焦慮以及英語口語能力上的差異。研究結果顯示,雖然受試者的英 語學習焦慮與英語口語能力在實驗教學前後並未在統計上達到顯著效果,但實驗後實驗組的 英語學習焦慮平均值傾向低於控制組。在英語口語能力上,實驗組之平均值則傾向高於控制 組。根據研究結果以及針對實驗教學內容設計之回饋問卷,研究者從以下四方面分別提出建 議:學生的自我認知焦慮,老師的口語及非口語表達,教室的佈置情境,以及良好語言學習 者及其學習策略之概念。 roups. The research instruments employed in this study were the English Language Classroom Anxiety Scale, the oral proficiency testing, and the feedback questionnaire. In addition, one way independent design ANCOVA analysis was used to examine the English learning anxiety and English oral proficiency between the experimental group and the controlled group after the experimental instruction. The result of this study indicated that even though statistically there were no significant differences in the testees' English learning anxiety and English oral proficiency both before and after the experimental instruction, the mean score of the English Language Classroom Anxiety Scale of the experimental group tended to be lower than that of the controlled group; the mean score of the English oral proficiency test of the experimental group tended to be higher than that of the controlled group. Based on the above result and the testees' feedback to the questionnaire, which was designed to understand the testees' reactions towards the features of the experimental instruction, recommendations in the aspects of students' self-related cognition in anxiety, teachers' verbal and nonverbal expressions, the architectural features of the classroom, and the concept of good language learners and their learning strategies were proposed. |
